St. Paul is located 200km northeast from Edmonton, and 100km west from Saskatchewan border. It is part of the Aspen Parkland Region and it's known for its most fertile soil is the province.

St. Paul Municipal Seed Cleaning Association Ltd. began exporting in the mid -1990's as a way of expanding and diversifying its business, therefore utilizing its potential to the fullest. Since the first international contract the volume of exports has grown significantly, from 3000 MT in the 90' to 8500 MT in 2010.

Our international sales primarily consist of dry green peas, canola and oats. The products are locally grown, cleaned and sampled at our facility, loaded to containers in bags or bulk and shipped.


Our green peas have reached different parts of the world; we have regular buyers in India, the United States, Philippines, China, Singapore, Venezuela and Hong Kong. Our export market accounts for 60 per cent of our annual processing and as high as 35 per cent of the Plant's business. We strive to provide quality products and excellent service regardless of customer distance.

In 2008 St. Paul Municipal Seed Cleaning Association Ltd was recognized as one of four finalists for the Alberta Business Awards of Distinction. The local chamber nominated the business for Western Economic Diversification "Export Award of Distinction" This is awarded to organizations that have demonstrated outstanding achievements in exporting products or services.
